The holidays are upon us which means cooking, eating more then we should, and spending time around family. Some of you may be cooking for the first time and many of us are spending time with family that may not be dedicated to a plant based lifestyle. Both of these factors can be stressful but you’re not alone, we’ve all been there.
Becky Stripe of Glue and Glitter joined the show to discuss her book Bowls and her new book 40 Days of Green Smoothies which is release this November but is up for preorder right now. She shared some regular holiday recipes that pleases her vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore friends and family. Be able to bring dishes to gatherings everyone enjoys is a great way to break the ice and show skeptics a plant based diet is just as flavorful as theirs (even more so at times). In addition to great recipes we shared stories and tips about talking to family of all ages about food, health, and going plant based.
