We had a fantastic time visiting A New Hope: Animal Sanctuary and Education Center over the weekend. The owners, Hutton and Max Baird, spent some time to chat with us about the center, their lives, and the amazing animals under their care! We were able to tour the sanctuary, meet the animals, and hear all about their stories.
It was a lot of fun and a bit of a challenge to record, but we think you’ll enjoy it! We must say that Ghost, the raccoon, was the star of the day for us!
A New Hope: Animal Sanctuary and Education Center is a fantastic way to learn about the lives and importance of the animals in which we share this planet. If you are interesting in volunteering at the sanctuary, then the next date is November 22. Visit their Facebook page to sign up, follow them on Instagram, and visit their website to get more info on the sanctuary!
A New Hope has planned some awesome events through the end of the year!
A holiday party is planned for December 12. There will be vegan hot cocoa and a chance to play Santa to the animals! Ghost likes anything shiny…
Vegan wine and cheese party will be held on January 8, because who doesn’t want delicious vegan wine and cheese? Tickets are still available, so click the link below before they are all gone! Did I mention vegan wine and cheese?
A fundraiser has been set up to help the sanctuary grow! Please donate if you can and share the link! Every dollar helps!!
Curiously Veg is adopting a turkey this year and we want you to help decide who the lucky bird will be! Visit our voting page and vote for your favorite gobbler this year! We’re adopting Friday, so cast your vote!
Big thanks to Hutton Baird for providing the amazing music for the end of this podcast! Listen to the whole song, This Is, and subscribe to his YouTube channel for more amazing music!
